When you go on vacation to Orlando there are many ways you can save a lot of money. Many of the ways you can save include renting a house, a car, and getting the Go Orlando discount card. When you travel to Orlando during the holidays with your family you will want more money to be able to enjoy yourselves, buy souvenirs, and attend more attractions. You might save so much money you will be able to stay an extra night.
When you travel to Orlando the first thing you need to do is rent a car. Renting a car is going to save you hundreds of dollars right off the bat because you won’t have to pay for cab fare, tours, bus rides, trolleys, trains and more. This will allow you to go when you want to and also not be limited or restricted on the hours you can come or go. You can also tour through the city and see all of the artificial Christmas trees and decorations lining the streets. There are artificial Christmas trees everywhere and they are beautiful.
When you are saving money during your holiday vacation to Orlando you also must rent a house and not go to a hotel. A house or bungalow for a week is far much cheaper than paying a nightly rate for just a few days. A house will save you up to $1000 extra bucks when you travel throughout the city. This is because you can cook in a house and you won’t have to eat out for every meal, you can do laundry in a house, and you can just sit back and relax. In addition, a house rental is the best option because you will have a more intimate experience with your family members.
Saving money is important for most people when they travel. When you plan a smart vacation you will not only save but have more money for gifts underneath the Christmas trees. Another way you can save is by getting the Go Orlando discount card. This discount card is taken at almost every venue in the city. You can save up to 50% at most places and an average of 35% at others. The discount card is accepted at gift shops, restaurants, theme parks, and so many other places. You need to purchase this card for your family before you take your trip. Set the dates that you are going to travel and it will be specified on the card. This is the best way to travel to Florida with a discount card.
When you travel to Orlando there are many ways you can save a lot of money on your vacation. The best ways to save include renting a car, house, and obtaining the Go Orlando discount card. The more money you save the more you will have on your vacation. When you have more money for your vacation you might even be able to stay a few days more than you had planned. There is nothing like taking a luxurious and budgeted vacation. Many people don’t vacation because they don’t think they can afford it. You can afford the vacation you just have to know how to do it.

When you travel to Orlando this year there are many ways you can save money if you are traveling during the holidays. One of the biggest ways you can save is by renting a car. Not only will you save a lot of money but you will have more fun being together with your family as you travel throughout the city. Many of the ways you will save include no buses, taxi fare, and more.
When you fly into Orlando you will need to find transportation to your hotel room. A taxi can be expensive, especially if you have a big family. Renting a car is the best solution because you will pick up your car rental at the airport and use it for the entire week. This will eliminate fees to and from the airport.
When you travel to your destinations throughout Orlando you will need to take a bus or take a taxi. Taking a bus will require you to pay for each individual person. Every place you go to will require you to pay for fare to get there. This can be extremely expensive. It will also cause you to not go to many different locations at all. When you rent a car for your vacation you will save money because you will only pay one fee for the car rental and for gas to get around. This is much cheaper than paying for every destination. However, you will not be limited on the destinations or places you will go. You will feel free on your vacation and not stuck because of the high costs.
When you travel to Orlando you will want to go on a tour to at least one destination. Tours are expensive because you have to pay for each individual to board the bus. The only benefit is that there is someone on the bus telling you about the history and the location. This is information you can look up online. When you rent a car you can travel throughout every destination you want to go to. You don’t have to limit yourself to just one tour. You can take your family touring through the city looking at the prelit Christmas trees decorated throughout the city. When Orlando decorates their artificial Christmas trees you will be amazed at the light displays. There are Christmas trees everywhere and you will be able to see them all.
A rental car will save you a lot of money when you travel to Orlando on vacation with the family this year. There is no reason to pay for each person in your family to go to certain places. You can save hundreds of dollars when you rent a car rather than pay different fares and fees throughout the vacation. You will have enough money so you can stay a day or two longer or you can even enjoy some of the fantastic shopping in Orlando also. When you rent a car you will also have a closer and more personal vacation with the family.

Recently, one of my friends, who is learning how to become a US citizen while she pursues her citizenship, traveled with me to Orlando for brief vacation from her busy Internet marketing consultant business. We had a lot of fun, and we quickly learned some tips that might help any of you who are thinking of traveling to Orlando in the near future:
Look for all-inclusive vacation packages or vacation packages that combine accommodations, car rentals, and tickets. It’s easy to spend thousands of dollars when you buy everything individually, but you can often get a great deal by shopping around for packages. Packages also make it a lot easier to budget.
Look for online deals on everything from souvenirs to plane tickets. You can often buy everything at a discount if you’re willing to go online, often because you’re not paying for overhead at your travel agency or local souvenir shop.
Come prepared for the sun. No matter what time you’re traveling, Florida tends to get more sun than many other locations. If you’re used to overcast, cold, dark days, the sun may take you by surprise. Walking around during the day, especially, you may find yourself dehydrated, exhausted and sunburned. Always carry bottled water, sunblock, and a hat, so that you can stay safe from the sun. Spend at least part of the day — especially the hours closest to noon — inside or at least in a shady location.
Wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot to see and do in Florida, and in Orlando one of the best ways to see the town is to walk. Whether you’re going to Disney world, downtown, or the beaches, you can expect to walk around in order to take everything in. Comfortable, broken-in shoes are the best way to go unless you like blisters.
Think layers. Although we were lucky that when we traveled because we didn’t get hit by any winds, rain, or other bad weather, Florida’s weather can be very variable. Bring along rainwear, a sweater, long pants, and some warmer clothes as well as your more summery clothing.
Carry snacks with you everywhere. Buy some snacks and keep them in your hotel room, backpack, or purse. It will save you from having to line up for cafes and diners, and will help you keep a lid on incidental expenses. Dining out in Florida can be expensive and time-consuming, so being able to grab a least one meal a day on the run is a big help.
Bring a small first-aid kit with you. It is often cheaper to have your own bandage rather than have to buy one – especially if you have to buy a band-aid at a souvenir store. Plus, you won’t waste a lot of time walking around trying to find a first-aid kit for a small cut.
Come prepared for crowds. There are a lot of people in Florida and even more people who arrive for attractions. You can expect lineups at parks and other tourist destinations, so bring your patience and your good manners.

Orlando, a key city in Florida’s Orange County, has plenty to offer both visitors and residents. It is the home of Disney World, but Orlando is about much more than theme parks. The city is also home to a wonderful downtown core and Winter Park, which alone is worth the airfare to Florida. While in Orlando’s downtown area, be sure to hop aboard the I-Ride Trolley or the Lymmo Bus. Both are designed for tourists and will take you to the major attractions in the area. Orlando vacation resorts provide great accommodations for the duration of your visit.
In addition to being a key tourist attraction and a major city, Orlando is known for its natural beauty, and you can witness this first hand at many of the parks and gardens in the area. Be sure to visit the Arboretum of the University of Central Florida, for example. This arboretum and botanical garden boasts more than 80 acres and over 600 species of plants. The many special gardens and displays – which include a Conservatory Compound, a Bromeliad Sanctuary, Palm Collection, Rose Garden, Swamp Habitat, Cycad Garden, Fern Garden, and Wetland Plants Display – will provide hours of fun.
Be sure to also visit Harry P. Leu Gardens, which offers about 50 acres of landscaped gardens. These gardens include lakes and the largest rose garden in Florida and one of the largest Camellia collections in the country. Another key garden to visit is the World of Orchids, which features more than 1,000 blossoms in a natural jungle environment. Beautiful streams, waterfalls, boardwalks, wetlands, and parrots create a stunning sanctuary for the many exotic blooms.
Orlando also has many wonderful museums, including the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, The Holy Land Experience, and the International Trolley and Train Museum. If you are interested in learning about the history of the region, be sure to visit The Orange County Regional History Center Features. If you love art, The Orlando Museum of Art features many art works ranging from the earliest paintings of the region to contemporary art works. For children, The Orlando Science Center boasts hands-on exhibits. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is another museum that blends fun with learning. It is well worth visiting.
Universal Orlando Resort is one of the most famous attractions in the area, of course. There are always new rides and attractions being opened, so if it has been a few years since you visited, you are in for a treat in a whole new resort. The Resort boasts two theme parks, three hotels, and a huge shopping district. Nearby SeaWorld Orlando boasts the biggest rollercoaster in the region as well as marine exhibits. Walt Disney World is only 40 minutes outside the Orlando area. The largest privately managed tourist attraction in the world, Walt Disney World, features two water parks, four theme parks, many hotels, three shopping and dining areas, and eight golf courses. Near Disney World, you can find Gatorland and the Wet ‘N Wild water park. Pack your bags – with so much to experience, Orlando is sure to provide you with weeks of fun and excitement.
